Hummels plays down Dortmund's chances

Borussia Dortmund's Mats Hummels feels his side will not be favourites to beat any of the remaining teams in the Champions League.

BVB booked their spot in the last eight of Europe's elite club competition with a 5-4 aggregate victory over Russian side Zenit St Petersburg. Having won the first leg 4-2 away from home, they succumbed 2-1 at the Westfalenstadion on Wednesday night but have joined Manchester United, Chelsea, Bayern Munich, Barcelona, Real Madrid, Paris Saint Germain and Atletico Madrid in the quarter-finals.

The draw for the next round will be made on Friday and there looks to be no easy fixtures with the quality of the teams involved. Hummels insists there are a few clubs that he would like to face for the first time in his career but believes that Dortmund will be up against it whoever they are paired with. "I'd really like to play any of the teams I haven't come against before. Barcelona or Manchester United would be great," he said. "I haven't played against Chelsea either, but it doesn't really matter who we get now. We'll be the underdogs against most of them."
