Mourinho urges Zlatan switch

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho believes PSG's Zlatan Ibrahimovic would regret it if he didn't play Premier League football at some point.

The Sweden international has been thriving in Ligue 1 having enjoyed spells in Holland, Spain and Italy before making the switch to the Parisian outfit. However the 32-year-old has never played in the English top flight despite being linked with a move to the Premier League on a number of occasions. Chelsea are preparing to take on PSG in the Champions League on Wednesday night and speaking ahead of the game, Mourinho has admitted he would like to see Ibrahimovic leave France for England. He said: "I think he has to be where he is happy, and if he's happy in Paris - and I know he is - then he has to stay.

"But, at the same time, I think it's a pity for him when he finishes his career and he played in the most important countries in the world of football, and won the most important championships in the world of football, but he didn't play in the best league in the world and never won the best league in the world. That's a pity."
